President's Desk:
Dr. Virambhai R. Godhaniya
The College which had a very humble beginning has now state-of-the-art infrastructure with more than 1700 students. Our institute has a strong substratum background of cultural and moral values which in turn have been instrumental not only in imparting cutting edge education but also in creating responsible citizens. We have been consistently illustrious to improve and update the infrastructure and quality of education and the same is reflected in results and consistently improving NAAC grading. Indisputably Grade B++ explains our standard on the national level and it is quite gratifying achievement. But the grade does not just tell everything about our college fraternity. The path here is as important as the destination. Throughout the whole process of various stages of this cycle, our staff displayed a marvellous level of synergy. All of us, the teaching and non-teaching staff worked as a closely-knit team and students also co-operated whole-heatedly whenever needed.

Manageming Trustee's Desk:
Shri Arjunbhai Modhvadia
Prior to unveiling of our institute the girls from very humble background in socioeconomically backward region of Porbandar had limited access to quality education which was a matter of great concern and aggravation. Today I am proud to admit that we have created a platform that provides the best education, facilities and ethical values in the region which contribute to our national development. The purpose of higher education must be to rationalize attitudes as well as to impart theoretically useful and practically applicable knowledge and skills. Quality education should orient national development that should aim at training the younger generation in life skills, self-reliance, personality development, community service and social integration. The College has inherited these principles along with robust teaching that assures to offer our students a unique opportunity to make their mark in tomorrow’s India.

Principal's Desk:
Dr. Ketan D. Shah (M.Sc. Ph.D.)
I feel immensely elated to acknowledge the enormous allied and well coordinated efforts of all the members of Godhaniya Family to overcome every obstacle on our path and consistently striving for perfection. Even the difficult times of Covid-19 pandemic did not shake our determination to deliver the best education. In fact it provided us with an opportunity to rethink and reassess the strategies for higher education. We have always been trying to create an innovative ecosystem to hone the skills of students in diverse programs to mould them to become distinguished contributors to the society. Our primary aim is to make learning an enriching, rewarding, and pleasing experience through adopting various methods and technological aids. Moreover we believe that creating fertile ground for effective synergies between research and teaching skills, nurturing and fostering critical thinking and problem-solving among students is rudimentary for higher education. Upholding academic integrity, accountability, sustaining open and transparent systems, and being sensitive to social responsibilities have always been our goal. We will continue to inculcate the pursuit of knowledge and to equip our students to face any challenge the future presents while preserving the traditional values leading to the empowerment of our youth ahead of their times.

Vision:

The vision of the institute is to ennoble the heart and uplift the mind of every individual to new vistas of learning and teaching.

Mission:
  • To develop into a model educational institute that caters to the needs of Saurashtra and provides worthy citizens to the nation.

  • To contribute to the development and implementation of an updated and effective curriculum that places the students in a position to compete with the best in the world.

  • To assist in augmenting the educational standards of rural women and making them self-reliant.
