The College: Aims & Objectives

Dr. Virambhai Godhaniya B.Ed. College was founded by the Shri Maldevji Odedra Smarak Trust, Porbandar in 2007. It is a Self Financed College affiliated to Saurashtra University, Rajkot and recognised by National Council of Teacher's Education (NCTE), Bhopal and the Goverment of Gujarat, Gandhinagar. The institute offers a full time B.Ed. programme with English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Maths\Science, History\Geography, Commerce as the core subjects. Furthermore exclusive training is imparted to the teachers-in-making in developing competency in soft skills as Spoken English and Personality Development. The college aspires to produce teachers with a vision to ennoble the heart and uplift the mind of the students to new vistas of teaching and learning. The prime aim of the institue is to develop practitioners who have competence in teaching, a deep understanding of the core concepts of learning and a commitment to realize the ideals of education.
